2023 BMW X2: Meet the Models

Just like past releases, the X2 comes with more than one model to choose from. In fact, shoppers have the option between two models: the X2 sDrive28i or the X2 xDrive28i.

Both models are designed around a 2.0L BMW TwinPower Turbo engine that can deliver up to 228 horsepower. The engine is then paired with an 8-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission that promotes a smooth, controlled drive.

The main difference between these models is their all-wheel capability. The xDrive28i model comes with the BMW intelligent all-wheel drive system. When you’re traveling on slippery or tough roads, this system automatically redistributes the engine’s power to all four of your wheels. This optimizes your traction so you can better remain in control.

For a sportier look and feel, the X2 is available to add the M Sport Package. This package includes an M steering wheel, an Aerodynamic Kit, available M Sport suspension, and additional wheel and trim options.

BMW drivers are used to having everything at their fingertips. That’s why the 2023 BMW X2 is decorated with plenty of standard and available technologies. For example, the X2 comes standard with the iDrive operating system.

Consider this your information deck, which beautifully displays your infotainment settings, navigational directions, media, and more. Choose between the standard 8.8-inch Central Information Display screen or the available 10.25-inch version.

The X2 is also compatible with the My BMW App. This downloadable app goes straight to your smartphone for easy access to your vehicle status. You can also use the app to remotely lock/unlock your vehicle’s doors.

In an effort to promote safe driving, check out the available Head-up Display. This system digitally displays your driving information, such as speed, safety warning, and more onto your windshield. Then you can receive all the info you need to, without taking your eyes off the road.
