This Year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas Witnessed Numerous BMW Premieres
At the 2017 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, BMW introduced a great array of vehicles, specialty parts and more.
After the all-new 2018 BMW M5 was introduced in August, BMW felt it was the appropriate time and place to unveil an array of M Performance parts designed to augment the vehicle. You'll find components designed to enhance aerodynamics, as well as a full offering of performance-oriented accessories that will help you bring the feel of the track to the streets you prowl.
The 2018 BMW M3 "30 Years American Edition" vehicle, designed by BMW Group Designworks and built by BMW Individual, made its global debut at the 2017 SEMA Show. This one-of-a-kind vehicle was built to honor the 30th anniversary of the M3 first coming to the roads and tracks of the United States.
Another innovation unveiled at SEMA was the BMW Turbocord™ EV Charger. This charging solution delivers the fast charging that BMW i and BMW iPerformance vehicle owners want, along with a flexible dual-voltage (120 V/240 V)capability.
BMW displayed a wide variety of vehicles at the show, such as the BMW 740e iPerformance, BMW 440i Gran Coupe, BMW X3 xDrive 30i, Moto GP BMW X2 safety car and the BMW M1 IMSA Group 4 race car.
The 2017 SEMA Show, which took up more than one million square feet of the Las Vegas Convention Center and had about 60,000 visitors, is the world’s premier trade fair for vehicle individualization.
